Call for Papers

We are following exactly the procedure for submitting titles and papers established last year (by George Fox University):

  • Presenters' names, status (grad or undergrad), school, title of paper, and a short abstract of about 100 words are due no later than MARCH 7. Also, please submit names and areas of expertise for each faculty advisor or member who will attend for the purpose of assigning session chairs and commentators.
  • Full and final papers from each presenter are due by MARCH 21.
  • Following last year’s practice, all submissions and distribution of materials will be done electronically. This allows us to establish the later-than-traditional due dates and still get papers to panel chairs and commentators two weeks prior to the conference. We will forward detailed information on the procedures for this in a future email.
  • Paper Format: Papers should have a title page with name, college, and status (grad or undergrad). The papers should be typed double-spaced, 12-point font minimum, 10-12 pages in length. No paper should exceed 10-12 pages of text (not including footnotes/ endnotes) to insure a 20-25 minute reading time @ approx. 2 minutes per page. Please note: papers not adhering to these standards at the time of submission will not be considered for awards competition.
