Directions to Gonzaga

FROM THE HOTEL: Gonzaga is just a short walk away from the Conference hotel (Red Lion River Inn), in NE Spokane. To walk from the hotel, exit along the river side and follow the path away from downtown, toward the east. As the path curves around the river, you will see the Jundt Art Museum to your left (with the small spire), just before a small pond. Cross the lawn to the left towards the large ceramic sculpture alongside the east side of the Jundt, and the path will lead you to the center of the campus.

DRiVING TO GONZAGA: Gonzaga University is located in Spokane, WA, just off of I-90, approximately 4.5 hours from Seattle, 6 hours from Portland and 4 hours from Missoula. The campus can be reached most easily by driving or flying, although bus and train connections are available. To reach the campus by Westbound or Eastbound I-90:

  • Take Exit 282 - Hamilton Street/Trent Street.
  • Go straight through the light at the bottom of the exit ramp and continue North on Hamilton.
  • Turn left at the next light (Sharp Avenue).
  • Continue four blocks and turn left on Addison into the main campus entrance.

For those who choose to fly to Spokane, the Spokane airport lies due west of the city, ca. 10-15 minutes from campus. A complimentary shuttle is available from the conference hotel (Red Lion River Inn) both to and from the airport. To access the shuttle, proceed upon landing to the airport's baggage claim area and locate the courtesy phone at the hotel listings board. Call the Red Lion River Inn to request a shuttle, which is available to the hotel upon request. Return shuttle to the airport must be scheduled at the hotel in advance; they leave on the hour. Taxis are also available at the airport and hotel.
