EENG 201/202: Supplemental Material

Rick Cox, Claudio Talarico, Gonzaga University

The main goal of this web site is to integrate information from many sources to make it easier for students to gain the insight necessary to master the “process” of analyzing and designing complex circuits and systems. The material consists of videos and slide sets supplementing the normal course work of EENG201 and EENG202.

The objectives of the supplemental material are:

  • provide connection betweeen electromagnetism, circuit theory and signal and systems theory and clarify their underlying assumptions and limitations

  • demonstrate “real world” applications that depend on the components and principles studied in circuit theory

  • empower students to investigate complex application problems through the creation and validation of models of different level of abstraction

  • validate the feasibility and assess the value of multiple potential solutions to ambiguous problems

This work is supported by the Kern Foundation.
