GONZAGA SOCRATIC CLUB PURPOSE
Founded in Fall 2004, the Gonzaga Socratic Club seeks to promote
open philosophical inquiry into the Christian worldview.
In the spirit of Socrates, our aim is to "follow
the argument wherever it leads" concerning the truth of Christian
doctrine and practice.

OXFORD SOCRATIC CLUB
The Gonzaga Socratic Club is modeled after the Oxford Socratic
Club, which was founded at Oxford University in
1941 and presided over by C. S. Lewis from its founding until
his move to Cambridge University in 1954.
